San Diego's Trusted Commercial Printer for 40+ Years

Start with where the label is going
The container and the environment it will live in decide more than the artwork does. A reagent bottle heading into cold storage, a supplement bottle sitting on a retail shelf, and a cosmetic label in a humid bathroom all require different materials.
| If the label is intended for | We usually spec |
|---|---|
| Bottles on an automated fill line | Roll labels, BOPP face stock, permanent adhesive, unwind direction matched to your applicator |
| Retail shelf products | BOPP or paper face stock with gloss or matte lamination, depending on the quantity and shelf look |
| Cold storage or freezer | Film stock with a cold-tack, freezer-safe adhesive rated for the temperature |
| Wet or humid environments | BOPP with gloss or matte lamination, permanent adhesive |
| Promotional and event use | Sheeted crack-and-peel paper or durable vinyl, finished as kiss-cut labels on sheets or as individually cut labels, applied by hand |
If your container is not on that list, describe it and we will tell you what works. This is the part we do every day and most customers do once.

Roll Labels vs Stickers
For products applied at scale
- Roll Labels: wound on rolls for automated production lines, tabletop applicators, or hand application at volume. The standard for supplement bottles, cosmetics, beverages, and product packaging. BOPP and paper stocks.
For short runs and promotions
- Sticker Labels: individually sheeted or kiss-cut onto sheets. Commonly used for promotional giveaways, branded merchandise and small quantity orders. Crack-and-peel paper or durable vinyl. Sticker labels can be custom cut into any shape or size without die tooling, making short runs affordable without sacrificing quality.
Pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and supplement label printing
We produce pharmaceutical labels, nutraceutical labels, supplement bottle labels and more for San Diego brands and the contract manufacturers who fill for them. Send us the panel content your regulatory team approved. We lay it out to fit the container and hold that layout consistent across every reorder.
What we print on these labels
- Drug facts and supplement facts panels
- Ingredient disclosure and net contents
- Batch codes, lot numbers, and expiration dates
- GS1 barcodes and serialized identifiers
- Proposition 65 wording as supplied
Variable data prints inline with the rest of the label, so you are not applying a second sticker later. TPS is not FDA or ISO certified. Compliance determination stays with your regulatory affairs team. Producing that content accurately on every run is ours.

How many labels do you actually need?
Most people asking assume they are too small an order. Usually they are not. Digital label production makes short runs practical. Roll label minimums typically start around 250 pieces for smaller sizes, and runs into the tens of thousands are routine. Sticker minimums are lower again for promotional work.
If you're launching and want 250 labels to see how the bottle looks on a shelf, that's a real order and we'll quote it.
